I'm not really one for doing surveys, even to make money, unless I feel my opinion is really relevant. However one survey and polls company I have persevered with is YouGov.
I haven't made a bundle of money from You Gov, the total to date is £47.25, about $94, but I think there could be potential for making a bit more.
Along with most survey websites it's possible to make money for completing surveys etc. They are a genuine company, by the way - see my previous post on YouGov YouGov Offer £1 Bonus For Joining Their Panel.
Why I now say that there could be some potential for making money with YouGov is because of their referal program 'Refer A Friend'. Here are the details, as per their website:
'For each new member that signs up via your personalised registration link, you will receive equivalent amounts in survey credit for each survey they complete during their first three months of membership.'
In other words you'll make the same amount (for surveys they complete) as the 'friends' you introduce, for the first three months of their membership. If they make £15 ($30) then so will you. If 10 referrals earn a total of £150 then so will you - and so on.
YouGov isn't a big earner, in respect of completing surveys, but if you could refer a few people it might add up to a worthwhile amount.
YouGov are looking for new panel members in the UK, USA and the Middle East.
Good luck,
Mike.
