We have had a poor summer here in the UK with rain, rain and more rain. I love where I live in Cornwall but on a blustery day, like today, I get to thinking about sandy beaches, sunshine, palm trees and sipping on a cool Kalik beer.
Let's face it, making money is of no purpose unless you spend and enjoy it.
The name of the beer gives it away as to where I'm thinking of. Kalik is dubbed 'The Beer of the Bahamas'. Yes, the Bahamas sounds just fine.
I have a thing about islands so the Bahamas would be just perfect. It is a region made up of hundreds of small islands, some uninhabited and many with wonderful beaches.
I like the sound of Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island. The color of red coral found in the area mixes with the white sand to give the beach a pink appearance. This contrasts with the deep blue sky and the green vegetation to what seems to be perfection.
Ah well, reality creeps in and I realise I've got blogging things to do. The thing is though, I save all of the money I make from blogging, in a separate account, and I (along with my wife, of course) use this for vacations and travel.
The Bahamas - it's got to be on my list of places to visit.
