Today has been lovely and sunny here in Cornwall. My wife and I decided to go for a long walk along the Fal River from Tresillian to Malpas. It's about five miles from where we live.It was one of those perfect days, beautiful views, lots of wildlife and when we reached Malpas we had lunch outside of the Heron Inn overlooking the river. On the way back we even picked blackberries for an apple and blackberry pie.
I had my camera with me and took a couple of quick pics, nothing special, just amateur snaps.
"I know," I thought when we arrived home, "I'll write a quick post about BritePic, which is part of AdBrite.
As I've said previously I haven't had much luck with AdBrite but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and and try out BritePic. This is where they attach adverts to photos you wish to include on blogs.
As I had the photos from my walk I decided to use them, despite them not being anything special. I followed the procedures, did everything properly, put the codes they provided on my post and ... what I got was completely different photos! Not mine at all!
It all took quite a while to do, so I wasted valuable time.
So that's definitely it for me with AdBrite, despite what I wrote on Monday.
Here's a couple of the photos anyway that should have had BritePic adverts attached. The first is of St.Clement Church and the second is the view from where we sat and had lunch.
As for AdBrite / BritePic - pah!
