Following yesterday's Money Making Report I'm chuffed to say that yesterday I ended up with 11183 hits on my celebrity blog. Needless to say this was a record.It got me thinking though about that often written phrase of how 'content is king'. In other words everything is down to what we write on our blogs. We can have the fanciest template, know all of the quoted tricks of the trade but, if the content isn't what people want to read, we are wasting your time.
It's something I've often said before: We have to give people what they want - not what we think they want or think they should want.
If the blog content is what people want they will read it.
Probably easier said than done. And sure we still have to do the basics when writing a post: keywords in title, first sentence and again later on; long tail phrases etc. but most important is our content. Good content is also good link bait.
I think that's all I need to say today.
