YouGov, the survey and pollster company, are in the news again, and all for the right reasons! The clipping on the left is from the Financial Mail and you can read other reports on them here, here and lots of other places as well. There are many dodgy survey schemes on the Internet so it's good to write about one that is genuine and doing extremely well. Their half year profits rose by 57% and their shares, on the London AIM, rose considerably in response to this.
YouGov are always looking for people to join their panel and to complete surveys and polls for payment. The money isn't big, there are no fancy promises but it must be better to join a survey company that will at least be able to pay out members.
Panel members are required in the UK, USA and the Middle East.
There is a bonus of £1 for joining for UK residents and $1 for people from the Middle East. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is an introductory bonus for the USA at the moment.
Besides getting paid to complete surveys, on all sorts of subjects, there are additional earnings possible for recruiting new pannelists.
You will see from my last Money Making Weekly Report that I have made a small amount with YouGov.
Good luck,
Mike.
