'One hundred and eighty', the top score with three darts on a UK dart board. Not that it's really relevant other than this is also my 180th blog post. So, on such an auspicious occasion, and it also being Good Friday, it's got to be some more Link Love ...I'll start with Happy Birthright Day - Bring Your BIG Goals! from the blog called Passion Meets Purpose.
We are offered this advice: 'Claim your birthright. Grab your higher-self by the hand and walk the line. Walk it one day at a time. One beautiful, quirky, eloquent, awkward, funny, heartbreaking, simple, chaotic, silly, chilly, sizzling, dynamic moment at a time. Choose to live as a deliberate creator of your reality.'
'Mmmmm okay,' you may say but Kammie writes well on such subjects and, if it's your cup of tea, pop along and have a read. I enjoyed her site. Why is the blog called Passion Meets Purpose? Well it's because, 'Living passionately and on purpose means knowing who you are and what you value.'
Next we have What are my daily success habits? from Creation Thoughts.Wendy was set the challenge to write about: '...things you do almost every day that help you to be successful. They can be anything at all, but they have to be things you do at least 4 or 5 times every week.' And that's just what she has done, ten of them. See if you agree with her tips for success.
Third is The 5 Minute Management Course from esofthub's web finds.
Six lessons here, but they are funny illustrations. A couple I had heard before but they still made me smile - and this is something I feel we should do more of. Have you noticed how miserable looking most people are when they are in a queue, for instance?
And now to cheer us up Don't Come Monday - You're A Blogger And You Are FIRED from the Million Dollar Experiment Down Under.
Rob tells us about some, 'bloggers who have been fired for expressing their views on their Blogs.' So be careful what you write. Rob's conclusion is that, 'you really need to be very careful to leave your employer out of your blog altogether, you never know what might be interpreted as unacceptable so its best to err on the side of caution!'
And finally Subscribe to our Feed Contest from Blog About Your Blog.
There is a prize up for grabs - a mini fridge. Matt thinks, 'It’s pretty cool (groan). Something fun to win!' Use the link to read the full info.
My good causes/charity this week is Cancer Research UK. They are the UK's leading charity dedicated to cancer research. Their websites have a wealth of information about cancer, research, how to donate and other ways to support the charity.Good luck,
Mike.
