I thought that today I'd update you on my earnings with PayPerPost as I haven't, as yet, included these on my Money Making Weekly Reports.
As I've mentioned previously I'm taking PayPerPost at a slowish rate as I don't want to swamp this blog with sponsored posts. That's purely my choice and it is up to individual members as to how often they wish to take up the various offers.
I guess ideally the more blogs you have the more offers you can consider and, therefore, the more money you can make.
Anyway, my earnings to date:
I have completed three sponsored posts, which have all been approved, and these total $22.52 - which averages out at about $7.50 per post.
I have, though, another $22.50 pending from PayPerPost's new Review My Post program. I have written about this previously (click here to see details) but, briefly, this is where non members can write a review about a members post and earn themselves $7.50 for doing so. My $22.50 is from three bloggers each writing about one of my posts. I also get $7.50, plus a link, in respect of these. This is for doing absolutely nothing - other than including a button on each of my posts.
All in all, therefore, I have made a potential $45.02 from PayPerPost.
What am I going to do with the cash? Well I think in years. What I earn in the current year I use the following year. I've been able to work this system, with my various interests, for over a decade. Okay so $45.02 won't exactly change my life but it will be a small part of (hopefully!) a much larger sum - and every little helps. Especially if the money is straight away invested in a high interest account. I'll have a meal or something on PayPerPost when I'm on holiday in 2008.
Getting back to PayPerPost itself. As I have mentioned previously posts take about 10 days to be approved, not sure why, but that is my experience. In saying this, however, it doesn't increase the time I have to wait for payment. It is still a 30 day period from the date of the post - providing it is approved, of course. Payment takes this long as posts have to remain on the blog for a minimum of 30 days and this has to be verified.
To date everything has run smoothly for me with PayPerPost. If you are not a member why not try them out by writing a review about one of my posts and earn yourself $7.50.
