I don't want to keep going on about PageRank - what has happened has happened and we have to get on with positive blogging.I thought, however, that this tool may be of interest if you haven't seen it before: LivePR
There are lots of websites that give your PR but with LivePR they also give your history as well, and this is the interesting bit.
PageRank keeps on changing so it's good to keep up to date. If you look at this blog's history, as on the right, you can see I was getting along quite happily with a PR5 until the recent topsy-turvey events.
The puzzling bit for me is the number of backlinks shown. Most odd that in January the blog supposedly had nil - which is completely in error - and also how in the last couple of days, according to the figures, I've somehow lost 178 backlinks.
There's lots of other stats on LivePR as well and it might while away some time - that's if you ever have any to spare.
On a personal level the drop in this blog's PR has hit my PayPerPost earnings. All of the lovely, juicy sponsored posts worth $35 have disappeared and I'm left with a row of $5 posts - which I probably will never do.
Anyway, that's the end of me commenting on PageRank, time to move on.
I've had WidgetBucks running on two of my blogs for a couple of days. I'm a little confused as to what I've earned as the weekly, monthly, last month, this month figures seem to contradict themselves, or perhaps it's just my interpretation. I think I've made $1.46 in total!I was going to give click rates etc. but I read in their terms that members, 'must not to disclose click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to by Mpire'.
