"Do I what?" you might say.
Thoof it!
Thoof isn't a misspelling. It's a news and info service that delivers you the stories and news that actually interest you as an individual. This all happens because of a fancy sounding 'personalization algorithm'.
Your own posts and stories can help to make up the news that is available - and, of course, there are links to where the story originated.
"A bit like Digg and the others then?"
Sort of, but perhaps in a better way because thoof delivers personalized news that is relevant to each reader.
The stories that may interest you are on the front page - and you can keep scrolling down to read more and more for a very long time.
"Okay, but why the name thoof?"
Ah well, it's because, erm, because ... er, because it gives the story oof! You know makes it stand out. Thoof gives it power - the oof* - thoof. Well it could be something like that!
What the news stories do have though (besides oof) is a ThoofRank. This is based on how interesting a story is to readers who have interests in common with the story. A ThoofRank of over 50% would show it is of above average interest - and has more oof (I made up the last bit about oof!)
Have a look at thoof for yourself. You might just like it.
*the word oof means money, cash and to be rich is to be oofy - not that this is really relevant to anything, but it may come in useful one day.
